Sergio Diaz has more than 15 years of consulting experience, specializing in business intelligence, corporate investigations, economic, political and social analysis, security consulting, market and public opinion research, risk management and strategic planning.
Before founding VESTIGA, Sergio served as Practice Head of Litigation Support and Forensic Services for the Mexico office of US risk-consulting firm FTI from 2011 to 2017. He was also Managinq Director of the Mexican subsidiary of the global investigations company Kroll, where he worked from 2001 to 2011.
Prior to that, Sergio worked in a number of public opinion, market intelligence and public relations advisory firms. In addition, he has worked as an economic analyst at SHCP (Mexican Ministry of Finance and Public Credit), an advisor to the Mexican Chamber of Deputies, and a professor at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM) and the Universidad Intercontinental.
Sergio holds a degree in International Relations from the UNAM, a diploma in Business Management and Development from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM)and has a Master's in Management from Southern Oregon University. Currently he is a professor of International Security at the Universidad Anáhuac.
Carlos Estrada has over eight years of experience in corporate investigations, social and political analysis, crisis management and computer forensics.
He has worked as an expert in computer forensics on a number of projects for important national and international companies.
Before founding VESTIGA, Carlos worked as an investigator and analyst for firms such as Kroll Mexico, Ernst & Young, Select Consulting, and FTI Consulting. He has been a speaker at a number of public and private forums.
Carlos holds a degree in Public Administration and Political Science from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM) and a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix.
He is a computer technician, English professor, and specialist in data analysis and data visualization. With experience in market analysis, competitive intelligence and corporate investigations.
Carlos is a member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE and has participated in investigative projects in Centra Americo, the US and Mexico.
Guillermo Suárez has more than 10 years of experience in corporate investigations, fraud investigations, background checks, due diligence, and political and social analysis. He has developed a number of innovative databases that have been instrumental in solving complex investigative cases.
Before joining VESTIGA, Guillermo worked as a researcher and analyst for firms such as Kroll Mexico, FTI Consulting and Grupo Atalaya. Guillermo was also responsible for managing databases and developing profiles for the Mexico City newspaper REFORMA.
Guillermo was a founding partner of the investigative firm Custos MX.
He has a degree in Communication Sciences from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM).
